Bulking Recipes

The infamous Protein Pancake. So many variations, how can you know whats best? Here's a few versions used by some amazing athletes...

PROTEIN PANCAKES

 

LINDSAY LEE ORANGE & EMILY ADAMS

1 scoop Magnum Quattro Protein in Vanilla Ice Cream
1/2 cup quick oats
1/3 cup cottage cheese
1 whole egg
2 egg whites
1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)

Blend all ingredients in a hand blender/mixer; pour batter on to griddle/frying pan as you would to make pancakes. Voila! (Really, really good when topped with sugar-free pancake syrup by Walden Farms and/or natural peanut butter!)

CHAD BONK

65g of oatmeal
1/2 cup of egg whites
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix together in a bowl. Spray pam in hot fry pan and pour mixture into pan. Flip once when brown. Add DaVinci sugar free flavor to taste.
You can add in raisins, currents and yogurt. Great with Walden Farms sugar-free pancake syrup and/or chocolate syrup!!!

VANESSA TIB

1 cup of egg whites
1 cup of quick oats
1 scoop of vanilla protein

Blend then pour onto a pre-heated frying pan and throw on some blueberries or banana. Flip and wait until both sides are golden brown. Add Walden Farms sugar-free syrup.


Lindsay's Pumpkin Protein Pancakes

1/2 Cup Dry Quick Oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup pure pumpkin puree
1 tbsp ground flax seed
1/4 cup egg whites
1 whole egg
1/3 cup cottage cheese
Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Blend all ingredients using a food processor or hand blender until it makes a smooth, batter consistency. Cook pancakes in a large pan on medium heat. Serve with Walden Farms calorie-free pancake syrup. Enjoy!!!

 

 

Chad Bonk's Bison Meatloaf

2 lbs. lean ground bison
6 whole eggs
1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
1 tsp dry mustard
2 tbl worchester
1 tsp oregano
sea salt
black pepper
1/8 cup water (optional)

Topping: 1/4 cup Ketchup or favorite BBQ Sauce(Low Sugar)
1/4 cup Sugar Free Maple Syrup
2 tbl lemon juice

Mix all above in large bowl and then place in a pam sprayed quare 4"x9"x4" baking dish, pressing together. Mix topping and pour over. Pre-heat over to 350 and bake for 30 - 45 min. until "Medium". Do not overcook. This is my overall favorite meal for bulking with big calories, great flavour and can easily be packed anywhere in containers.... Enjoy and Grow!!


 

Ron Partlow's MUTANT Breakfast Shake

300-350ml cold water
250ml egg whites
150g oats
1 large scoop of greens
handful of frozen strawberries
30g natural peanut butter
15ml olive oil
80g of Mutant Pro protein

With approximately 1300 calories, this huge shake packs over 100g of carbs, 100g protein, and 40g fat.
